Camping
Camping at the
Festival Grounds
-
Tent, car, and RV camp
sites area available on your right as you enter the Fairgrounds through
the South Entrance. There are plenty of campsites available on a
first come, first served basis. Campfires are not allowed during
the festival. However, there are several picnic tables and charcoal
grills available. There are limited electrical hookups (RV users
will need extension cords), and no sewer or water hookups. Restrooms
are located in the Community Building, by the Exhibit Hall, and in the
camping area. Camping prices are $20/campsite/night with electricity
or $10/campsite/night without electricity. All camping fees must
be paid upon entering the Fairgrounds and we cannot reserve campsites. - Camping is on a first come, first served basis. If you camp
before or after Thursday, Friday, or Saturday nights, please pay your
camping fees to the Johnson County Fair Board.

Upon check-in, you will
be issued a campground pass to be displayed and visible in the windshield
of your vehicle. Vehicles may leave and re-enter the camping area,
but no vehicle will be admitted to the camping area without a camping pass.

Wristbands must be worn
at all times in the campground as well as on the rest of the festival grounds.

Big Horn Mountain Festival
is not responsible for any lost or stolen articles. Security will
be patrolling the camping area as well as the festival grounds. No
security will be provided Sunday night.

No overnight camping is
allowed in the free day parking areas.
Showers
There are a couple
of showers at the Fairgrounds that campers can use on a first come first
served basis. They are available in the Community building (3 men's, 3
women's) and are included in the camping fee.
Water
Potable water is available
in both the campground and stage areas, as well as in the Community building.
Use these to fill containers for your RV or campsite. There are water spigots
throughout the fairground complex.
RV Dump Station There is no dump
station at the fairgrounds, however a free public dump is available by
the Cenex station on Hart Street in Buffalo.

Other Camping
There are plenty of places to camp
or park your RV in Buffalo, but remember it isn't a large town, and there
are lots of folks visiting and passing through all summer. Camping and
RV parking are always in demand, so to ensure you find the right place
for your stay we urge you to make your reservations early.

for in or around Buffalo, check out the accommodations in nearby Sheridan.
It's only 35 miles away via an easy, scenic drive on I-90, and there are
plenty of interesting things to see and do there as well. |
