Camping
Camping at the Festival Grounds
  • Tent, car, and RV camp sites area available on your right as you enter the Fairgrounds through the South Entrance.  There are plenty of campsites available on a first come, first served basis.  Campfires are not allowed during the festival.  However, there are several picnic tables and charcoal grills available.  There are limited electrical hookups (RV users will need extension cords), and no sewer or water hookups.  Restrooms are located in the Community Building, by the Exhibit Hall, and in the camping area.  Camping prices are $20/campsite/night with electricity or $10/campsite/night without electricity.  All camping fees must be paid upon entering the Fairgrounds and we cannot reserve campsites.
  • Camping is on a first come, first served basis.  If you camp before or after Thursday, Friday, or Saturday nights, please pay your camping fees to the Johnson County Fair Board.
  • Upon check-in, you will be issued a campground pass to be displayed and visible in the windshield of your vehicle.  Vehicles may leave and re-enter the camping area, but no vehicle will be admitted to the camping area without a camping pass.
  • Wristbands must be worn at all times in the campground as well as on the rest of the festival grounds.
  • Big Horn Mountain Festival is not responsible for any lost or stolen articles.  Security will be patrolling the camping area as well as the festival grounds.  No security will be provided Sunday night.
  • No overnight camping is allowed in the free day parking areas.
Showers
There are a couple of showers at the Fairgrounds that campers can use on a first come first served basis. They are available in the Community building (3 men's, 3 women's) and are included in the camping fee.

Water
Potable water is available in both the campground and stage areas, as well as in the Community building.  Use these to fill containers for your RV or campsite. There are water spigots throughout the fairground complex.

RV Dump Station
There is no dump station at the fairgrounds, however a free public dump is available by the Cenex station on Hart Street in Buffalo.
